Biographical outline of Luanne White
Luanne White is President of Act Now Acting Academy and Theatre Techniques
for Executives (TTE). Founded in 1992,
TTE teaches new and
exciting personal communication and presentation techniques for individuals,
corporations and legal firms across the nation. The development of these
acclaimed techniques were sparked by and developed from the science of the
performing arts industry. A unique protocol has evolved including a Learning
Sequence and communication tool and the discovery of how the physics of the
human body and our use of its energy and the non-verbal language play a primary
part in the dynamics of speaking, presentation and communication skills. Because
of its profound success, her company has been featured in The Atlanta
Business Chronicle, The Atlanta Journal/ Constitution, Fast Company
Magazine and Harvard Business Management. Her company completed
successful training workshops at the American Trial Lawyers Association
conference, Association of International Certified Public Accountants,
BellSouth, and others which have received positive reviews.

Ms. White received critics’ praise for her portrayal of Sharon Lake in the
stage play, Play It Again Sam, and has appeared in the television shows In
the Heat of the Night, I'll Fly Away, Savannah and the
made-for-television movie, A Season in Purgatory.
Luanne won awards for her marketing skills while an art director in the
advertising industry. Additionally, she received awards for underwriting
production given by the American General Life Insurance Company of Houston and
New England Life Insurance Company of Boston and went on to co-own Financial
Focus, a commercial financial brokerage company in Atlanta. Her clients
submitted various projects in excess of four hundred million dollars.
Prior to TTE, Luanne was responsible for supervising over 200 members of a
national networking organization in coaching them for speaking engagements,
business advertisements, targeting key markets, and assisting members with
energized and engaging presentations. She has served on the board of Sales &
Marketing Executives of Atlanta and Women In Film.
Luanne’s hobbies include egg design of Faberge influence, watercolor and
acrylic painting, sculpture, the potter’s wheel and writing. She lives in
Atlanta with her husband and they spend as much time as possible with their
three grown children and grandchildren that reside in Ohio and Atlanta.
